The Office of Early Childhood Development (ECD) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is offering grants for the Fiscal Year 2025 Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program. This funding will support five-year cooperative agreements with federally recognized Indian tribes, tribal organizations, or urban Indian organizations. The goal is to develop, implement, sustain, or expand evidence-based home visiting programs for expectant families and families with young children (birth to kindergarten).

These programs aim to provide high-quality, culturally grounded services to American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) families, focusing on maternal and child health, school readiness, family socio-economic status, parenting practices, and reducing child maltreatment, crime, and domestic violence. Additional objectives include implementing performance measurement systems, improving early childhood coordination, and contributing to research that builds evidence on home visiting in tribal communities.

Eligible applicants include federally recognized Indian tribes (or consortia of tribes), tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations as defined by the Indian Health Care Improvement Act. Applications from individuals and foreign entities will not be considered.
